Fish Don't Feel Pain

Fishing and hunting licenses pay for the upkeep of public lands, public waters and healthy animal populations. If it weren't for those anglers, ahunters, imbedded in those areas and invested in keeping them healthy, that funding might not be there. There is something inherently more ethical about going into nature and harvesting a wild animal in as humane a way as possible.
