I always felt that in some respects I was always a bit behind. Way better socially, way. A lot like I don't think I caught up until I got my diagnosis because at least that gave me like a framework to manage through. And one of the other things was reading Milton's double empathy problem research is really spending more time with autistic people. Most neurotypicals do not want to work on their empathy problems. So even within a mixed group, the double empathy problem isn't going away. Some amazing allies that are neurotypical want to working on their empathy problem. I love them for it and I will help them air damn day, like I am all in.
