When Did You Decide You Wanted to Be a Writer?

I don't know when i decided i want to be a writer. But i've had that feeling probably since high school. What i really loved was we had these assignments where we would read books or a short poem, and then we would have to analyze the meaning behind it. That's what told me i was good at writing and that i enjoyed doing it. Thefe that i've had for a long time is that i want the life style of an author.
