Solomon does God speaks to Solomon in a way that he did not speak to David and Saul. It appears like is sort of direct speech to Solomon, which makes some of this even more surprising. And so you've abandoned him for things that aren't God. Things that are well not God are extremely dangerous and can lead to destruction.
