A huge learning moment in my career happened probably about 10 years ago or so. My natural tendency is to do things on my own and, you know, go off at my desk with my headphones on. I just need to start writing out the syntax on paper. Maybe I have no idea whether or not it's effective. But as UX designers, especially, we learn so much. And we just wanna make sure we try to fail fast, of course, and learn most importantly.

Jessica Ivins schools us on the critical value of a growth mindset in UX Design. She teaches us how to learn how to learn. She enlightens us as to why it’s always better to generalize before specializing. She reminds us introverts that we can only truly succeed by extroverting. She also reveals how the best tool recommendations can only come when it’s clear what one is trying to learn.
