Introduction
Nikolai Bukharin gave a speech at the Sixth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party in 1928. In this talk, he laid out the thinking behind the Common Turn Strategy for what was considered to be a third period of the World Revolutionary Movement. He made the case that revolutionary events in one part of the world affect other parts of the world. The simultaneous victories of China's revolution and India's revolution would "probably destroy Japanese imperialism"
