We Cannot Stand in the Way of Progress, Right?
There were warnings the broader American populace could have accessed and heated if they had wanted to do so. Capitalism doesn't want to do anything that doesn't just make a lot of money and is easy. In 1965, philosopher Marie Bookchin published Crisis in Our Cities about the negative consequences of urbanization. This blanket of carbon dioxide tends to raise the earth's atmosphere by intercepting heat waves going from the earth into outer space. The very next year, his own organization gets a report saying like, we need to start reducing carbon dioxide emissions or horrible things are going to happen.
