Isabel, i was thinking about a political cycle of history. Do they go ond in circles, or do you see progress? The place where the house of the spirits and violetta take place is the southern corner cone of the continent. It could be euro argentina, chile, peru. But this novel, ivalona is a very tropical story. It happens in the heat of the caribean. So that d could have happened in some places in colombia, in venezuela, in some other tropical countries.
