The Importance of Daily Prayer

I love my wife Beth. I really do, but she needs more than Edward Sree's love going out toward her. She needs Christ radiating through me. It can only happen if I have a committed prayer life every day. Same thing with my children: They need more than just dad and dad's love. That can only happened if I had a committed daily prayer life. Just listening to a podcast or listening to Catholic radio is not Prayer. But you want time every day, quiet time with the Lord, time with the scriptures, time and conversation.
