Are People in the Other Party Vilifying and Dehumanizing Um?

In 2017, about 40 percent of democrats and republicans said that people in the other party were not just wrong for politics. They were downright evil By may of this year it's now Over 50 percent of democratats and getting close to 70 percent of republicans that are saying that. I think it's more important to remind people that holding that opinion creates a blockage in our ability to even have the conversations that we need to have for a democracy to function. And by keeping people focused on things that make them aggrieved, they actually can avoid policies that might help them better their lives.
