The proof of stake system is like a popularity contest or something that could be very easily manipulated without even doing these crazy scenarios just having political actors saying what people want to hear. I mean you're recreating this centralizing force instead of having it be economies of scale it's sort of the delegation aspects, re-centralizes things again. So there are always these trade-offs and other attack vectors that pop up.
