The Gap Theory Article - What Is It All About?

Research shows that the rate at which volcanic and tetonic activity increase and decrease in earth's history perfectly coincides with the needs of living creatures. This just blew my mind, because it wasn't directly dealing with the creation story, but was more just showing that god set up the earth with laws to sustain it. And even the species destruction, which we would see as a really sad and heart breaking thing, and then its replacement serves a valuable purpose. These things that we see as just random chance, is just happening whenever the earth feels like it should happen.
