OTC Hearing Aids Are Coming to the U.S.

The FDA is allowing over-the-counter hearing aids to be sold in the U.S. This change is expected to lower costs and increase accessibility for some people with hearing loss. Sony Electronics announced it has developed two OTC hearing aids in partnership with WS audiology. Both sets of hearing aids are cheaper than the average $5,000 prescription options.
