The History of Trades Within a Week of Major League Debuts

There have been eight previous players who were traded within a week of their major league debut. Joe Giannini he was actually the first one so 1911 he went from Boston to Brockton three days after he debuted. Bob Sadowski was traded from St. Louis to New York on August 7th 2011. Wilson Alvarez and rich Sirhoff are two others that made it less than a week before they were dealt.
