Is It Time to Rekindle That Debate?

In 19 97 you wrote an article about free agent nation. At the time there were some 25 million self-employed people in America. That number hasn't grown like that dramatically, but it's a reflection of this move toward more risk being shifted to individuals. We still haven't had better social support for things like health care and education. But i think that when you're talking about universal basic income,  i think that is something we should all be thinking about.
