The US Response to China's Military Aid to Russia

The Chinese would like some kind of diplomatic solution to the war that doesn't look like defeat and failure for Russia. My guess is that she is telling Putin do not use nuclear weapons. The odds is some clever Chinese proposal for limiting Russian gains gets any traction in Ukraine is about zero. What will the US response be if China steps up military aid to Russia?
