The Malevolent Spirit in the Book of the Dead

Bruce Campbell: The premise now we see the, you know, Bruce Campbell, Ash Williams, and his girlfriend are in a car driving along. We later learn that this malevolent spirit was released after the professor's voice on this tape recited the words from the book of the dead. Right. Even I am like thinking, dude, turn off the paper. The tape record. Turn off the tape record. But, but so we find that out later. So what we see in the opening sequence though is,. you know, this malevolentspirit takes over her Is that? Yes. Okay. And that then she becomes not really a zombie. Right.
