Providing a Cooked Lunch to Schools
Three years ago, our reporter visited a giant kitchen in bangalow belonging to the 20 19 winner of our global champion award, cleacshire patra foundation. This huge operation was focused on providing children in local government run schools with a cooked lunch. Every single day we are making 24 tons of rice and abouta 20 tons of sambar, which is nothing but the side dish for the rice. And this was just one of many kitchens run by chiopatra and not for profit school meals organization. The foundation was providing a cooked lunch for one point seven million school children every day,. something teachers told our reporter was making a real difference to their people's lives.
