I Want to Be a Part of Elite, but I'm Not an Elite
The term elite has so much negative baggage that I'm sort of reformulating how I talk about it. The language that we use is important because we need to say things in ways that people are going to pick them up. There are real problems with elites and yet, if we just use elite as shorthand for bad people that I'm not around or bad people that don't have me in their club, then that's not a very useful shorthand.
