Linda Carti and the Rodriguez Family Didn't Know Each Other

Linda Carti and the Rodriguez family didn't know each other, but they did live opposite each other in this neighbourhood. It's one of those neighbourhoods where all of the houses are exactly the same. So they would recognise each other even if they had never said hello. Linda admitted that her daughter's car may have been used in the crime as she directed police to a nearby empty yard. In the boot of one car was the dead body of Joanna Rodriguez and she had been suffocated with duct tape and a plastic bag. Miraculously though he was still alive despite the summer heat.
