The Soviets Wanted a 'Europe Wide Security'
The idea of an indivisible security, that is, a europe wide security, where everyone's concerns are considered, and where collectively there are decisions made about how to keep the peace. This is what the russians wanted, the soviets wanted then. And i mean, as you say, it's certainly consonant with what we've seen since then. I think they would haveno. They would have absolutely no idea.
