The Effects of Weight Gain on Death
12 animals, one ram, seven ewes, three lambs, and one goat, were studied. At the moment of death an unexplained weight gained transient of 18 to 780 grams was observed with seven adult sheep but not with the lambs or goat. The temporary weight gain was quite surprising because it seemed to violate Newton's third law of motion - that for every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction.
