GP Practices - The Future of GP Partnerships
In 2015, more than two thirds of GP's were in a partnership role. Now that figures fall into only just over 50%. The decline of partners is far outstripping the overall decline in the fully qualified GP workforce. Nick Clegg: More than 5,000 fewer GP's are in partnership roles now than there was a case in 2015. He says many practices will have to look at significant cost cutting to stay afloat as bills rise and staff costs increase.
