The Epoch Times Is a Part of the Falun Gong Organization
Falun Gong is a well-funded influence op to format opposition to the Chinese government. Epoch Times was founded in 2000 by this guy named John Tang who's also a follower of Falun Gong. During the Trump administration, they were kind of peddling out all these like COVID conspiracy theories around China. Revenues quadrupled during the Trump term and they spent over $1.5 million in Facebook ads.
