The Importance of Listening to Your Ears

Eurysco says Sonar works is doing some sort of tilt shift at the end or something. Usually when Matt comes in here and aligns my room, we get it completely flat. And then at the end, we put this big tilt filter on the entire mix. The next thing Eurysco says is people say trust your ears. What do you think about that statement for new producers with little to no music? I think it's stupid and you should learn to read meters. Your ears don't know shit without experience.
