The Disruption of Sport
There've been some crucial points in British history where horse racing has been disrupted for a political reason. This isn't new in that sense, this goes back a very, very long way. But I think the reason that it's more prominent now is because sport is such an enormous platform and it has enormous media exposure. So if you're trying to argue for a change, whether that's around animal rights or environmental matters or LGBT rights or feminism or anything else, and you're going to choose a platform that has most exposure.
