How I Found Myself in the Newspaper Blackouts

When he first started making those poems, is that sheer desperation really? I mean, it was right out of college and like, I had just discovered that I probably wasn't a good fiction writer. And then because it turns out there's like a 250 year old history of finding poetry in the newspaper. The blackouts kind of take off and then people start like telling me how unoriginal I am and who I'm ripping off. That journey going from thinking that you're doing something original to like, Wait a minute, people have been doing this forever.
