Team Forsythe Observatory on Instagram would like to know, what do you all believe would be the world's religions response when we are contacted from another civilization outside of our own existence? I don't think it will make all that much of a difference. The nature of reality for a scientist would change completely because now we'd have a second instantiation of life out there in the universe. Some religions where or some branches of religions where it is very important to them that the universe was created for us and for no other life. But most religions have gotten past that.
