The Skag Is a Bumper for the Rudder, Is It a Cutter?

The skag provides a bottom bearing and in your boat. The bottom of a keel provides an afternoon keel bottom bearing. There's no question that takes a lot of load off the other bearings. And, you know, so if you do whack something, there's more support for sure. But I think to me, the ultimate thing that people missing the discussion these days is the directional stability that the skag provides. That kid's all is a cutter.
