I thought the way they did it felt very real and kind of natural rather than horrendous. They had to address the fact that this was a posh white privilege show from throughout its entire history. I think Cynthia Nixon was brilliant as Miranda. The scene where she's on the platform, on the subway, which might be actually in episode two. She's keeping seeing her on the platform,. by the way. And so I actually thought those scenes were pretty good whereas they could have been horrendous.
