Can We Offer Connection When a Child Isn't Doing Well?
Can we use this idea in particular to form connection in a moment where a child's not doing well? As opposed to saying, don't I tear a breath or you're not supposed to do that. It's very unkind and going off on some teaching tangent that likely isn't going to work. In all these moments where the kids are not doing well, they're thinking brains offline. So can we instead offer a connected piece in order to get their prefrontal online?
