The second chapter takes up the question of another form, form, nation of power over the speaking body in the 20th century. A lot of my interest here is the way in which typically humanistic concerns have been translated into technical and systems theory frameworks. The mid century cyberniditians had a lot of faith in the power of communication. And partly that faith was tied up in Cold War's sentiments right?
