The Importance of Infrastructure in Capitalism
Sally Kohn: I thought it was a really interesting way of trying to think about economic power in a way that's different than say violence or ideology. She says the state might use violence, but the highway itself, what it's doing, well, we need a different concept to describe that. Kohn: It is also altering the very background environment near the way that we think about or enact mobility.
