What's a Middle Voice?

A middle might have a very specific meaning in this or that language but it's by no you can't assume that what's a middle in one language will work for middles in another. I think also that might be referring to what you might call reflexive might be morphologically speaking but using middle voice might be naming the same beast something different from different act.
