The Name of Jesus

The name Joshua has a theological meaning behind it, but in the society of the time, they didn't look at him and his name wasn't something that made them think, oh, this is the Messiah because he's named Joshua. He was somebody that was plain to look upon. He faded into the background and his name while we understand there's a theologicalmeaning behind it. This is the one who saves it. Even his name though faded him into the background for the common,. unless we know that the name is significant in what it means.
