The Importance of Humor in Music

I remember having this funny quote in our local like hometown newspaper and so like we know the guy that's interviewing us he was being super funny. He just asked me all these questions about when Matt dated Katy Perry before she was famous. I'm curious at what point did you realize oh this is a thing that like I can do it's gonna pay the bills? At some point somebody realized oh this is just what you do and you're able to support yourself doing it.
