Is There an After Life?
Ecclesiastes asserts that there is no after life, ok? Once you die, you're just gone. This is a view that not all jews agreed on at that time,. To day, it's a sort of open question really, in jewish teachings. So ecclesiastes made it in esther. Esther made it in even though it never mentions god. There are others that were clearly widely known and widely circulated in the second temple period that didn't make it in.
