Real Music and School Music: Bridging the Gap

This topic was inspired by an email we got from a colleague. He asked how do you make sure that the music they're listening to is a better reflection of all humans? We always talk about how students sometimes see a gap between the music they do at school in music class with us and the music they listen to at home. World Music Pedagogy really comes into play.
