Molly O'Brien: Outing yourself can be helpful when self inquiry shows us parts of ourselves that we might feel ashamed of or we don't want to acknowledge. She says it involves courageously going opposite to the tendencies to want to hide those parts of ourselves which don't really need to be hidden. "I have a really hard time letting people finish what they have to say before I say something else," she said.
