microsopt put those ludicrous requirements in place for windows 11, but now you've got a whole bunch of old laptops that are officially not supported by windows 11 that will be supported by cromos. I don't think it's going to do the slightest thing to force mikrasofs hand. It gives you the opportunity to have chromoes on considerably more powerful hardware that you didn't have to go out and spend a mint on. That could turn out to be really nice for google.
