Right View Is the First Step on the Path of Liberation
Right view is the important and essential first step on the path, because it sets the direction. But if we don't know the right direction, even with very strong aspiration and efforts, we might wander for a long time and never reach our goal. So that all our efforts are actually heading in the direction of liberation. We need to have that understanding.
