The Politics of China

We are now in a situation because of our neglect of Taiwan, where the Chinese clearly want to subordinate Taiwan. We are not going to catalyze something that they did not already want. By neglecting our defenses there, we have now made it in the realm of the possible. This is a very serious problem and one I take very seriously.
