The Role of Nihilism in Mass Shootings

Nihilism generally creates this attitude of uncaring about human life. It's not clear that what motivated the Pittsburgh shooting is nihilism, but it could be just the nasty human beings. Gun control isn't an attempt to rid society of violence and might be a bad attempt which involves violating individual rights in order to defend yourself. I'd rather live in a safe place like South Korea or Japan where you're completely protected by gun culture than America.
