The Imaginative Playfulness of the Church

The Paul record talks about the surplus of language. There's always more spillover because these are words and metaphors that we say are visited by the spirit. The problem is how do you let the pulpit be a place of imaginative playfulness rather than tight fisted explanation or dogmatic conclusion or moral instruction?
