The Importance of Sympathy to Joseph Smith
Even your most kind of Orthodox, you know, person does not experience the world in the same way that Joseph Smith did. He sees the world and experiences the world in a very different way than we do in the 21st century. So I think some sort of sympathy to Joseph Smith is sort of living in a different age living in adifferent timeliving in a different reality. And that helps us make sense again of religious claims from different times and different eras.
