The Double Edge of Open Source
I think it's one of those situations where we're being forced yet again to do philosophy on a deadline. The fact that technology exists to kind of just like launch these unaligned models is itself a problem. It does show the double edge of open sourcing, where you ultimately don't have control over what people do with whatever you're open source. Even if you would prefer people to use it in one way, people will disagree and do it another way. And that's just where we are. We'll just have to see what happens.
