The Islamic point of view is don't use birth control for fear of poverty because God is the one who provides. If you've got another reason some medical reason that's okay. The deliberate chemical interference into sexual intercourse to prevent conception is wrong and you cannot tolerate it. Jesus Christ had nothing to say about homosexuality. It just means that it wasn't a problem in Palestine where he preached.
