The stair sequence is where he realizes his parents are evil. Also how he dispatches the bully by kicking him down the stairs. So like the stairs obviously signify, I guess, his descent into violence. That is definitely a motif. Also the pumpkins in general, so much pumpkin stuff. A lot of pumpkins. It's just a motif that I noticed. Yeah.
