The basic fundamentals of the religion is something that's known by everyone's scholar and non-scholar. On those things, the laity can hold the scholar to account if he breaches or transgresses those who are not. Al-Aimin is just a non-specialist. He's got another career. We have a scientist here. He could probably run circles around us on science,. His nine to five job is not Sharia. So he places himself as the lay Muslim. Doesn't mean he's dumb. If he wanted to change his career and become a fucker, he probably could do better than me and you.
