The History of Witchcraft

In 1486, right before Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas, the most famous treatise on witchcraft ever written would appear. This work is commonly attributed to two German inquisitors, Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Springer. But many now think that Kramer was most likely the sole author. The Malius dwelled on the gendered nature of witchcraft, much more so than earlier accounts and more than many later ones as well.
